It has been my honor and privilege to know the Chief. He could always be counted on to share stories, provide support, and give advise to all who knew him. Several years ago he personally gave me one of the greatest gifts I've ever received, permission to marry his beloved daughter, Isabelle. To the Chief, i offer you thanks for everything and promise to continue to honor and cherish your little girl for as long as we both live. To my mother in law (Mum) and my extended Redman & Drayton family, I offer my sincerest condolences. If it brings any comfort, I know that the Chief has joined my parents, Andy & Veda, and all of our faithfully departed in God's Heavenly Kingdom.

I happened to be reading something about the UN and Mr. Redman came to mind and so, by way of Google, I came upon the information that he had passed. Mr. Redman was a regal man—I remember him well, and Mrs. Redman, too. I was a neighbor (2 doors down) from the Redmans, a large, wonderful brood with whom I shared many a summer’s day growing up in Cambria Heights, NY. It’s hard to believe that it was only 7 years that I lived there, but there were lots of memories and good times, particularly with the kids I knew: Walter, Brian, Christopher, pretty little Isabelle, an occasional appearance by Nicole, the littlest one (Michael) and, of course, the elder statesmen, Peter and Garth! I send my most heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Redman and the rest of the family, and salute a long life, lived to the fullest. Sincerely, J. Richard Villarin, Esq.

I have many memories with the Chief. He knew just how to cook my bacon!! Whenever I was in his presence he treated me like a dignitary. I will miss his stories, his advice, his cooking, his LOVE OF LIFE. I'm thankful that I had the opportunity to know him. "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die" JOHN 11:25-26
