Esther Ortiz was born in the town of Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico on April 15, 1944. She was the seventh child born to Juan Ojeda Lemus and Maria Rodriguez de Ojeda. Esther’s profession was a secretary at a law firm. Her hobbies included reading, listening to music , and writing letters to her loved ones. Her favorite magazine was Vanidades. She was born in Rodriguez, Coah., Mexico in January 21, 1929 to Carolina Valdes and Fidel Maldonado. She had a beautiful childhood and grew up with her 4 brothers and sisters in Sabinas Mexico. She immigrated to the US in 1959 after marrying Jose M. Resendiz in December 7th, 1958 to embark on a new life. Laurentina led a full and happy life with her husband and three children.
