Helen Catherine Farah was born in Houston on March 4, 1969. She passed way on October 10, 29014. Helen Catherine leaves behind her parents, Fernando and Barbara, her sister Jeanette and her brothers John and Fernand. She loved and cared for the children of her brother Fernand, Grant and Addison, as if they were her own children. She also loved her puppies whom she adopted from shelters around Houston.
Helen Catherine attended and graduated from St. Michael’s Catholic School, together with her sister Jeanette and her brother Fernand. After, that, she attended and graduated from St. Agnes Academy. Helen Catherine then attended St. Edward’s University in Austin and graduated with Bachelors Degrees in Business and Video Communications.
Helen Catherine was a realtor, associated with Berkshire Hathaway Anderson Properties. She served in leadership positions for many years with the Women’s Council of Realtors of Greater Houston Chapter (WCR GWH). As President in 2010, she led the chapter to a National Ward. Helen Catherine also founded one of the most successful fundraising groups of the WCR GWH.
Helen Catherine lives all of her life in the Briargrove Park subdivision in Houston, with her parents, brothers, sister nephew and niece. TI was very dear to her that they all lived in homes designed and built by their father, who is an architect and builder.
To celebrate her life, a visitation will be held Monday, October 27,2014 from 6. – 7 p.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Road, Houston, Texas, 77056, followed by the Vigil and Rosary at 7 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, also at St, Michael’s Catholic Church.
As an expression of sympathy, Memorial Remembrances may be made to St. Michael’s Catholic School.
