Larry Cabness, 67, peacefully went to be in the arms of Jesus on June 23rd, 2015, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Debbie Cabness, and his daughter and son-in-law, Kristin and Steve Thorp and granddaughter Leah Thorp. He is also survived by his two sisters Judy Dougan and Ann Stewman along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. Larry and Debbie spent weekends at their bay house in Sargent, Texas, where they enjoyed fishing, boating, gardening and entertaining. Visitation will be Sunday, June 28, 4 pm-7 pm at Blackwell & Vazquez Woodforest Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be June 29 at 10am at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be with military honors at Houston National Cemetery. Memorial remembrances may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project in Larry’s name.
