Edward’s Obituary.
Edward Dale Gish, April 2, 1940- March 6, 2016. He was born in Nederland, TX to Norman and Bertha Gish. He graduated from Nederland High School in 1958 and went on to Aeronautical School in Englewood, California, were he graduated. He made the choice to go into the Airforce where he served four years in Knob Noster, Missouri. After the USAF, Edward continued his love of airplanes by working for TTA, which eventually became Continental Airlines, for an impressive 38 years at Hobby Airport. The last 3 years he lived at the Waterford, Deer Park, TX with his wife.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Bertha Gish and son Jay Tad Gish. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy Gish; Daughter Stacy Lauderdale and husband Charlie Lauderdale, Pearland, TX; Son Scott Gish and wife Beth Gish, Houston, TX; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and a brother Elton Gish and wife Kathy Gish; 1 niece and a great niece.
Funeral service to be held at the First United Methodist Church 1062 Fairmont Pkwy, Pasadena, TX 77504, Pastor John Stevenson to officiate. Pallbearers are all friends and coworkers from United/Continental Airlines.
Burial to follow services at Galveston Memorial Park, 7301 Memorial St. Hitchcock, TX 77563
