Helen Knappick Zurovec of Houston, Texas passed away on Monday, March 7th, 2016.
She was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 24th, 1935 and lived many years in Houston, Texas and where she passed.She was married to Cyril Charlie Zurovec on October 21st, 1950. They were married 65 years and had six children.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents; Hattie Zuber Knappick and Ed Edward Knappick; brothers, John Alvin Knappick, Herman Knappick, Rudolf “Bob” Knappick and Fred Knappick; sisters, Tilley Gulley and Eleanor Alex.
She is survived by her husband; Cyril Zurovec, her sisters; Margaret Cummins and Dorothy Zurovec. Her children; Pauline, Rocky and his wife Michele, Randy and his wife Therese, Donna, Kathy and her husband Billy Creech and Troy and his wife Robin. Her grandchildren; Kyle and his fiancé Danielle, Ryan and his wife Brandi, Laronda her husband Jeramy, Arron his wife Holly, Tiffany and her husband Felix , Brittany and her fiancé Art. Her Great Grandchildren; Benjamin, Kaitlin, Hannah, Savannah, Hunter, Kailey, Riley and Arabella.
Visitation for Helen will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 11:30am to 12noon in the main chapel of Blackwell & Vazquez Woodforest Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at noon with a procession to follow to San Jacinto Memorial Park.
