Ramon Luna Sr, 73, born August 8, 1942 in Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, June 20, 2016.
Ramon is survived by his wife; Raquel, daughters; Corina (Javier) Gonzalez and Patricia (Louis) Escalante,sons; Ramon (Carlota) Luna Jr and Jesse (Summer) Luna,grandchildren; Aaron,Javier,Valerie,Jacob,Clarissa,Amanda,Alexis,Candace and Joe, great-grandchildren; John,Charlotte and Emma. He was preceded in death by his son; Javier Luna, granddaughter; Regina Raquel Luna-Gonzalez, grandson; Eric Arriozola and his parents Dolores and Romana Luna. And has many extended family and friends.
Ramon, loved fishing and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather and a friend to all!
Ramon, will be fondly remembered as a great man through his constant love, caring and his sense of humor.
Visitation for Ramon will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 2:00pm to 9:00pm in the main chapel of Blackwell & Vazquez Woodforest Funeral Home. A rosary will be said at 7:00pm. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 10:00am to 11:00am to pay their final respects. A procession will follow to Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8701 Almeda Genoa Road, Houston, Texas 77075.
