Alejo Jaime Castañeda ,age 72, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, June 12, 2017. He was surrounded by his loving wife of 52 years Imelda Jaime, friends, and family.
Alejo was born on April 8, 1945, in Empalme Tamaulipas Mexico, the son of Alejo and Prisca Jaime. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Imelda Jaime and four sons and their families: Hector and Norma Jaime and their three children Bridgitte Jaime Gaytan, Hector Alejo Jaime Gaytan, Angel Sosimo Jaime Gaytan
Alejo Gamaliel and Yaneth Jaime and their six children Gianam Jaime, Heli Jaime, Jokebed Jaime, Alejo Gamaliel Jaime, Hector Jaime, Ashley Jaime
Josafat and Janet Jaime and their child Summer Yvonne Jaime

He is also survived by four great-grandchldren: Ezequial Antonio Banegas, Isabella Nicole Jaime, Victor Lisandro Rodriguez, and Sebastian Enrique Rodriguez

Alejo Castaneda Jaime was born on April 08, 1945 , to parents Alejo Jaime Cervantes and Prisca Castaneda Martinez. Alejo Castaneda Jaime was a great family man and a loving father. He lived in Mexico where he married Imelda on June 4, 1966. His family and friends will always remember him for his love of baseball, his wonderful cookouts, and his righteous character.
The family of Alejo Jaime Castañeda will have a celebration of his life at 7:00 PM on Friday, June 17, 2017, at Blackwell & Vazquez Funeral Home, 750 Uvalde Rd., Houston, TX 77015.
Alejo’s wishes were to have his ashes placed in Chipinque, a natural forest reserve in Monterrey Mexico.
