Charles Wayne Davis passed away peacefully on July 19, 2017 in Houston, TX. He was 79 years old.
Mr. Davis was born on September 28, 1937 in Iola, TX to his parents, Cecil and Annie Mae Davis. He married the love of his life; Joy Lynette Davis.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Cecil Bryant Davis and Annie Mae Davis. His beloved wife Joy Lynette Davis and his two sons Rusty Wayne Davis and Randall Wayne Davis.
Mr. Davis is survived by his 2 sons; Ronald Wayne Davis and family, Clint Dewayne Davis and family. His brother Cecil Bob Davis, all his grandchildren and his beloved Crossroads Family.
Mr. Davis will be buried in a private ceremony on July 25, 2017. A memorial/celebration of life will take place on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Crossroads Church at 10:00 AM. Please contact the family in regards to this matter. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mr. Davis’ life.
Mr. Davis’ family will be holding services for him at Blackwell & Vazquez Woodforest Funeral Home (750 Uvalde Road, Houston, Texas 77015). The family will be accepting visitors on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will take place in the main chapel of Blackwell & Vazquez Woodforest Funeral Home located on (750 Uvalde Rd., Houston, TX 77015) Tuesday, July 25 2017 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Lake Grove Cemetery (Iola, Texas 77831) at 1:30 PM.
