Mr. Simon G. Gonzales passed away at age 88 on December 19, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents Senon and Micaela Gonzales; brothers, Jose and Alberto; son, Arthur, and grandson Ricky Gonzales. He is survived by his beloved spouse Delia Gonzales; children, Simon, Jr., Richard, Martha, Gloria, Mario, Steve, Mike, Joe and Johnny; grandchildren, Sandy, Tara, Jerry, Melissa, Mario. Jr., Mike, Kyndall, Kailyn, Ryan, Veronica, Rachel, Steven, Anthony, Mike, Jr. and Delia; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Maria, Gregory, Salvador, Jesse, Esperansa, and David.
Mr. Gonzales family will be accepting visitors for him at Blackwell & Vazquez Woodforest Funeral Home (750 Uvalde Rd. Houston Texas 77015) the visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017, in the main chapel from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral service will take place Friday, December 22, 2017, at 11:30 am in the main chapel of Blackwell & Vazquez Woodforest Funeral Home (750 Uvalde Rd. Houston Texas 77015). Interment will follow at San Jacinto Cemetery (14659 East Fwy, Houston, TX 77015), 1:00 pm.
